The Chain Gang is a group of Riders and Crew who are participating in the 1999 Washington D.C. AIDS Ride.
On June 24th, 1999 we will begin a 350 bicycle trip from Raleigh, N.C. to Washington D.C.
Our goal is to raise money for Food & Friends and the Whitman Walker Clinic. These agencies provide direct services to people living with HIV / AIDS in the Washington D.C. Metro area.
Annually the D.C. AIDS Ride raises over 4 miliion dollars. After expenses this money is put to work providing meals, groceries, medical care, social and legal services.
Our job is to raise the money and ride the distance. 350 miles, on our bicycles, June 24th - June 27th.
